The following groups are offered for your convenience. If you are interested in participating in a group, but do not see a time that fits your schedule, please contact me for referrals to other therapist's groups or individual skills sessions.
DBT Skills groups are classes - we gather to learn how to restructure our lives, reorganize our thinking, and how to not make things worse. Pairing a group with your individualized treatment plan in individual therapy can mean building the life you've always wanted.
Mondays: Awakening Women's Recovery Group 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
This is a group I have custom made for women in recovery. I've put together information from the 12 Steps, Refuge Recovery, DBT, Buddhism that addresses the challenges and the beauty of each of the 12 Steps. It is a 13 week journey. Each group is $50
Also on Mondays: Adolescent Skills Training Group 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Tuesdays: DBT Skills Training Group 6:30-8:00 p.m. $50/group, $50 if you pay for a month at a time.
Wednesdays: VIRTUAL DBT Skills Training Group 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. $50/group.
The DBT Skills Groups are 16 weeks in duration, cover the ins and outs of all the skills:
Mindfulness, where we learn how to be present and aware AND at peace.
Distress Tolerance, which teaches us how to tell if the situation is a crisis or not, and then how to distract skillfully if we can't change it or how to radically accept it.
Interpersonal Regulation, which shows us how to ask for what we want or need in a way that can be heard, and how to say no effectively.
Emotion Regulation teaches us about our emtions, why we have them, and how to manage them so they don't take over our lives.
A day-long Mindfulness intensive using experiental art activities.
Mindful Menopause: Manage your menopause sypmtoms with mindfulness.
Set Your Intentions: Using Your Bullet Journal to Achieve Your Goals for 2018.
